How would our security needs be determined?

Alphacorp and its security consultants take a measured security approach to your facility. First and foremost, we consider every potential client a partner with us. The level of security will be determined by what risks our clients are most concerned with in their business – based on that information, we suggest various solutions and together we come up with the best cost effective measures to take.

Why should we use Alphacorp?

Alphacorp is one of the largest security integrators in the State of Utah and surrounding areas. We are a privately held, local company that can make decisions at a minute notice and which does away with the bureaucracy of working with large corporations. If you have an issue with any of our employees or workmanship, you can contact our ownership directly. Most of our business is directly related to recommendations and referrals that our existing clients give us, which is a powerful statement considering the many security companies out there. This is mostly due to the level of expertise and workmanship we put into our customers and systems.

    What does Integrated Security Mean?

Integrated Security solutions mean several things to many people but the real fact is that Integrated Security Systems means just that, “Integrated”. Integrated Security is having all factors of your security system (access control, alarm system, video surveillance and control systems) operate and communicate seamlessly together on one database. The use of a common database for maintaining the access control data, video imaging for badges, alarms, camera surveillance, building controls provides a resource for many departments (in addition to Security) including Facilities, Human Resources, Information Technologies, Public Relations, Payroll, Cost Analysis, and Management of Fixed Assets. This term has been used in the security industry for the past 10 years however it is abused by many. So, if it is Integration you are wanting, be careful when selecting your supplier. Several people claim they are providing an integrated solution by combining several systems together and using inputs / outputs from other “3rd party” systems to receive the information. This would be called “Interfacing” not “Integrating”. Remember, true and seamless integration means the ability to “Control and Manage” you’re combined overall security and control systems.

The value of real integration is that computers can talk to one another and an operator only needs to work with one computer and one program. This is particularly important when your security system operates on the company network.
